We are excited to let everyone know that on Friday August 12th, the museum will be having a grand opening of the new exhibit “Celebrating the history and traditions of Serbian weddings
On Wednesday July 27th 2022, we were honoured to be visited by Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism of Ontario Michael Ford and MPP for Windsor-Tecumseh Andrew Dowie. Our guests learned about the items on display, the history of our museum and Serbian culture. The conversation included opportunities for the Ontario government to support museums and employment. A photograph by Bozidar Vitas of Sopotnica Waterfalls in southwestern Serbia was presented to Minister Ford to commemorate his visit. Check out the pictures from the visit below!
